Senior BI Developer

OVERVIEW:
- ProFocus is searching for a Sr. BI Developer for a 4-5 month contract assignment in the Portland, OR area.
- This is a senior BI Development role with great pay and is responsible for the design and development of creative and innovative analytics solutions in an enterprise environment. Please email us your resume so we can discuss.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or demonstrate equivalent experience in a related field.
- 6 or more years of experience in business intelligence and data warehouse experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in programming languages such as Python, C#, JavaScript, DAX, R, .NET or Java and D3.js is preferred.
- Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehouse design, Kimball practices and MPP data warehouse technologies as well as strong experience building solutions with UX designs in mind. Deep implementation, development, and support experience in several of the following: Azure Analysis Services, SAP Business Objects, Tableau, Cognos or Power BI. Expert SQL is required. Azure SQL DW, HDInsight, Teradata, SAP BW/HANA experience is preferred.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have proven experience with design, analysis and troubleshooting with a highly analytical mindset.
- Authorization to work in the US is a precondition of employment. We do not sponsor work visas.
