TITLE: DevOps Engineer
LOCATION: SW Portland, near Tigard area
PAY: Target pay for this role is between $95,000 and $105,000 annually but may vary based on experience.
OVERVIEW:
- ProFocus is searching for a DevOps Engineer with strong experience with PHP and Laravel for a direct hire position in SW Portland, Oregon (near Tigard)
- This is a mid level DevOps Engineer role with good pay and great benefits, that will help development teams produce better quality software at a consistent and frequent rate using version control, continuous integration and deployment, and configuration management. This engineer develops, maintains, and optimizes the production application environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in software development, with at least 1 year in DevOps, Release Engineering, or similar role.
- Skilled with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy
- Familiarity with migrating application environments from on-premises to AWS
- Experience with containers
- Expert knowledge of networking and web hosting technology, including Apache and Nginx
- Familiarity with release engineering for SQL Server databases
