Data Scientist Analysts Contract To Hire POSITION TITLE
  • Data Scientist

OVERVIEW:

  • ProFocus is searching for a Data Scientist for a contract-to-hire opportunity at a financial services organization in Beaverton, OR.
  • This is a mid-level analyst role with great pay and is responsible for developing quantitative financial models used to help verify results of various analytical systems. Please email us your resume so we can discuss.
LOCATION:
  • Beaverton
POSITION DETAILS
  • Position requires a Master's Degree or higher in quantitative discipline and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in financial industry; Experience with financial modeling is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
  • High level of proficiency with SQL;
  • Strong programming skills in a statistical language, MATLAB, Python, or R;
  • Hands on experience with Access, Excel and VBA;
  • Working knowledge of capital market products, and related pricing techniques;
  • Strong background in Statistics and Econometrics with proven track record;
  • Proficiency in back-testing, stress-testing and other validation techniques.
  • Authorization to work in the US is a precondition of employment. We do not sponsor work visas.
