POSITION TITLE

eCommerce Solutions Architect

OVERVIEW:

• ProFocus is searching for an eCommerce Solutions Architect who is comfortable doing hands on development about 60% of the time and Enterprise Architecture about 40%. This is a Senior level role with great pay and is responsible for building and implementing eCommerce engines. Please email us your resume so we can discuss.

POSITION DETAILS

• This is a 6 month contract position with an opportunity for direct hire at the end of the project. The ideal person is someone who can think and plan holistically, who sees the risks and opportunities within an implementation project and can plan accordingly. They need to have a custom mindset when creating solutions – it cannot be package, off the shelf solutions. Core programming is in C# and Java. Previous experience building services in an AWS system is desired.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or demonstrate equivalent experience.
• 8+ years experience as a software architect.
• 4+ years proven experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise class transactional eCommerce systems.
• 4+ years hands-on experience architecting solutions with cloud providers such as AWS, Azure or other related technologies.

PREFERRED

• CloudFormation, Terraform experience.
• Lambda API gateway.
• IAM service roles (Security)
• Full-stack development background and knowledge of RESTful web services.
• Demandware or Hybris.
• Adobe AEM or Sitecore.
