Mike is an experienced consulting executive and business strategist who leads the Consulting Business Unit at ProFocus as Managing Director. He partners with clients to solve complex business challenges through tailored practical solutions that align strategy, operations, and technology. Mike brings deep expertise across industries—including healthcare, retail, and public sector—and a proven ability to provide flexible engagement models that deliver measurable outcomes.

 

Originally from the East Coast, Mike spent 8 years in the Bay Area working in tech startups and in global roles with Hewlett Packard. He moved to Portland in 2004, where he led technology teams in the Public Health division of OHA (Oregon Health Authority) before spending 7 years as a management consultant in various leadership roles.

 

Community service has long been a passion of Mike’s. In addition to consulting with many healthcare nonprofits, Mike previously served on the board of PANOW (Project Access Now) as the tech lead and currently volunteers as a crew leader for the Forest Park Conservancy, among other service activities.

 

When he’s not working, Mike loves hanging out with his wife and two children, trail running, bike riding, backpacking and exploring various parts of the world together.
